Monofloral honey from different species of heather that cover the Basque mountains during the summer. Its color is dark amber with reddish nuances that turn brown when it crystallizes. It has an intense aroma with medium persistence of leaf litter and floral accents of the unique northern heather. Its prolonged flavor is sweet with clear malted and spicy components accompanied by bitter notes.
